For a business meeting my colleague suggested Gnome, which was a delightful surprise near MUSC! It's a very unique place that serves breakfast foods at lunch, which I love! Their dishes are healthy, vegetarian and delicious! And great coffees, too. The atmosphere is alive and exciting and is frequented by students. I definitely recommend and will be back.

This is vegan place. Food is really fresh and we loved the taste. We ordered appetizers, main course and drinks(non alcoholic) everything was perfect ! If you are two people visiting you have small seating arrangements outside the restaurant. We had a perfect weather and loved it

My wife and I love finding vegan and gluten-free places on our travels, despite how hard they may be to find. Gnome Cafe, despite the bad parking situation, was the perfect brunch meal after an early morning walking around the College of Charleston and the Citadel. They had decent coffee and offered free refills. I had the Southern Grits bowl and my wife had the Cinnamon pancakes. The southern grits bowl seemed like I was actually having scrambled egg (tofu) and buttery grits, even though its vegan. I've never been a huge fan of kale, but it worked so well in this bowl and the bacon (portobello mushroom) had deep flavor. I didn't ever think it tasted like "bacon", but it was really good. My wife's cinnamon pancakes were delicious and indulgently sweet. She subbed the potatoes for a side of grits (smart move). The staff was extremely nice and even gave some suggestions of favorite vegan spots in other cities, which were subsequently added to our list!

LOVE this place. Coffee was great and so was the food! Nice clean/fresh/relaxed atmosphere, plus the name is great.

I’m not a vegan but was really pleasantly surprised by this gorgeous space and flavorful food! I got the hempseed “sausage” patty, which was spicy, well textured, and filling. Would recommend as your new local cafe!
